REGIONAL MANAGER OF EPCG EDUCATION UNIT FOR EASTERN AND GREATER ACCRA INDUCTED INTO OFFICE

The first Regional Manager of E. P. Education Unit for Eastern and Greater Accra, Mr. Denu David Kofi Motiey was inducted into office on Sunday, June 20.2021 by the Moderator of the General Assembly. Rt. Rev. Dr. Lt.Col. Bliss Divine Agbeko (Rid). He was assisted by the Clerk of the General Assembly. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Amey and the Presbyter Executive of the General Assembly. Presbyter Charles Sitsofe Sakyi.

The event which was held at the Amenuveve Congregation of the EPCG at Koforidua was well attended by the Clergy, Presbyters, Choirs and Staff of the E. P. Education unit among others. Delivering the day’s Sermonunder the theme “Jesus, the Lord Over Our Storms”. the Moderator of the General Assembly admonished Christians to have trust in Christ and call upon him with hope and conviction. The Moderator charged Mr. Mottcy to work hard to promote quality education and positively impact academic performance in all the EPCG
Schools within his jurisdiction.

Responding to the charge, Mr. Mottey promised to work in order to compliment the confidence reposed in him. He said he will cooperate and collaborate with the Church, Municipal and District Directors to revive collapsed schools and also build new ones. In her address, the General Manageress of E.P. Education Unit, Mrs. Mariam Jemimah Adzroe advised the new Regional Manager to have in mind the Partnership Agreement between the church and the government on education. She urged him to work hard and leave remarkable footprints.
