Boys Brigade honours Mr. Abraham Appiah-Fei โ€ฆ

It was with immense joy and pride that Ramseyer Memorial Congregation, Adum-Kumasi of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana shared the remarkable honour of Mr. Prince Abraham Appiah-Fei by the Boysโ€™ Brigade.

The Boysโ€™ and Girlsโ€™ Brigade Kumasi District One Area Council has bestowed upon him the prestigious BB Presidentโ€™s Meritorious Award as the Best Patron for the 2022/2023 Boysโ€™ Brigade (BB) session. This recognition is a testament to Mr. Appiah-Feiโ€™s unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions to the brigade over the years.

Mr. Appiah-Feiโ€™s journey with the Boysโ€™ Brigade traces back to 1966 when he joined the Ramseyer BB during his formative years in middle school. Inspired by his senior brother, Mr. Daniel Fei, who served as an officer and later became the General Secretary of the BB, Mr. Appiah-Fei embarked on a transformative journey within the Council. Rising through the ranks with determination and passion, he eventually became an officer himself.

However, it wasnโ€™t just personal growth that motivated Mr. Appiah-Fei. His deep-rooted interest in the role of patrons within the brigade, particularly the Chief Patrons, led him to aspire for greater involvement. Guided by the memory of esteemed individuals such as Mr. Moses Yaw Adjei, Mr. Opoku Acquah, Mr. Jacob Wuaku, and Mr. Edward Owusu Ansah, Mr. Appiah-Fei sought to enhance the patronage structure within the brigade.

Recognizing the pivotal role patrons play in the success of the Brigade,  Mr. Appiah-Fei diligently organized and coordinated patronage activities, working closely with dedicated captains and officers. Together, they ensured seamless support for the brigade, especially during times of need.

Today, under Mr. Appiah-Feiโ€™s stewardship, the Boysโ€™ Brigade thrives with a patron membership of 122 females and 14 males, boasting an impressive 75% activity rate. His leadership and guidance have not only fostered a sense of camaraderie and purpose within the brigade but have also instilled valuable life skills and values in its members.

As a proud member of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Mr. Appiah-Fei exemplifies the spirit of service and dedication that lie at the heart of the Christian faith. His unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering community spirit embodies the teachings of Christ, inspiring us all to serve with humility and compassion.

Indeed, โ€œA nation that does not honour its heroes will not long endure.โ€ Let us join in congratulating Mr. Prince Abraham Appiah-Fei on this well-deserved honour. May his example continue to inspire everyone to serve our community and spread the light of love and fellowship wherever we go.
