Apostle Ebenezer Hagan Fellowships With Achimota English Assembly
Apostle Ebenezer Hagan, the Youth Ministry Director of The Church of Pentecost, joined members of Achimota English Assembly in the Achimota Area to climax the 2024 National Youth Week Celebration.
The service was filled with joy and excitement, thanks to captivating choreography and spirit-filled music by the Achimota English Assembly choir (Evangel Heralds of Joy) and the youth drama group.
Speaking on the theme โUnleashed to Reach Out for Maximum Impact,โ drawing from scriptures in 2 Kings 13:14-28 and John 5:2-8, Apostle Hagan encouraged young people to embrace their potential and be empowered for maximum impact in their generation.
He stressed that God has intentionally equipped and empowered every Christian youth to make a significant difference.
Echoing the message of Apostle Eric Nyamekye, Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, he urged the youth to recognize and fully harness their spiritual gifts and talents to fulfill Godโs purpose.
Using the metaphor of arrows and referencing Isaiahโs declaration, โI am a young man, an arrow the Lord has released,โ Apostle Hagan described young people as arrows that can achieve far-reaching results, surpassing those who launch them.
He depicted the youth as a dynamic force for advancing both their nation and Godโs kingdom.
Addressing concerns about the future of the church and the nation, he stated, โA generation that fails to teach their young people about God is one that fears for the future of its youth.โ
Apostle Hagan also emphasized the importance of mentorship, urging older generations to take responsibility for guiding and supporting the younger generation.
โEvery young person is a valuable tool in Godโs hands, capable of great things when properly nurtured,โ he reiterated.
He encouraged the youth to overcome any doubt and embrace their potential, declaring, โThe Devil is a liar. Do not lose your confidence. Live a lifestyle that reaches out. If God wants to use you, ask Him to use you big. Donโt let anyone tell you that youโre too young to do anything for God.โ
Apostle Hagan urged young people to be grounded in Christ and to confidently reach out, ready to make a significant impact for Godโs Kingdom.
The service was also honored by the presence of Mrs. Priscilla Hagan, wife of the Youth Ministry Director, Pastor Gideon Ephraim, and Mrs. Mabel Sunkwa, the Achimota Area Youth Ministry Leader, as well as members of the Achimota Area and District Youth Executives.
